Imaginary worlds and profound music await in this adventurous afternoon highlighted by a delightful composition with a magical narration, along with Dvorak’s New World Symphony. Rounding out the afternoon, the Michigan Philharmonic Youth Orchestra joins on a beautiful piece by African American composer, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor.

Tom Young
Tom has been a member of the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce for over 12 years. During this time, he was an ambassador, a board member, and an executive board member. In 2021, Tom stepped into the role of Membership Development Director. He assisted in rebuilding membership after Covid. Tom ran the Chamber Awards Banquet and the famous Plymouth Pumpkin Palooza. Tom retired from the Chamber in November of 2023.
In 2009, Tom started performing in the theater as Potiphar in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He took an extended break from the theater until 2023, when a friend convinced him to audition for Forever After Productions presentation of Young Frankenstein the Musical. He was honored to receive the role of Inspector Kemp. In 2024, he was an ensemble member of the cast of Legally Blonde the Musical and Christmas Carol the Musical. Also, in 2024 he was invited to join the Harmony Singers performance group. He performed multiple times throughout the year. Also, in 2024, He had the honor of performing as the Narrator for the Michigan Philharmonic performance of Shadow Puppets Meet the Carnival of the Animals. In 2025, he was an ensemble member of the cast of Big Fish the Musical.
All these rehearsals and performances enriched Tom’s life. Tom is excited to see where his next performance takes him!
